the craziest Emperor of Rome. Nero. The man was a self proclaimed famous theater actor, poet, champion at every public game. He’s the emperor who burned Rome to the ground to make room for a second house for himself. He’s like many other emperors in that he killed his mother, wife, and various other peers. He eventually married his freedman servant.

Has anybody here ever participated in Olympic Games? The emperor Nero has did

In circa 62 AD  there were Olympic Games being held in Greece. Nero asked to delay the Games for one year because he was not prepared.

The organizer followed Nero’s request and delayed one year.

A year later during the Olympic games the organizers allowed Nero to win a 9 horse chariot race, despite being the last racer.

In the last race (game) Nero was thrown from the chariot and decided to leave. In reality, This should have meant a loss, but Nero declared to the organizers

“I am the winner who should be crowned. I would have won if I had completed the race, thus I should be crowned.”

The organizer meekly بخنوع  answered: “But we cannot do that. What would the spectators think?”

Nero : “If I pay you 5 kilos of gold…”

The organizer to the spectators: “Now we declare Nero the winner!”

Nero won every contest in which he was a competitor.

When you were a child, did you ever lose a game but then ask to be the winner?
